Chana Sattu Flour
Chana sattu is made from roasted Bengal gram. It is highly nutritious. It is rich in protein and energy. It helps to improve digestion. It boosts energy. It improves bone health.
How to use it: It can be used for making paratha, laddu, Sharbat etc.
Sharbat recipe:
Chana Sattu act as a nutritious health drink giving you immediate energy. Consumption of chana sattu during summer will help to overcome heat and tiredness. By using chana sattu ,You can make sharbat in two ways:
Basic ingradients: Take one glass full of water ,add half cup chana sattu powder, add one table spoon lemon juice ,add a pinch of salt and black salt each.Stir it well.
Namkin sharbat: Add fresh coriander leaves, mint leaves to the above basic ingredients . Mix it well and your namkin chana sattu sharbat is ready to drink.
Sweet Sharbat: Add two teaspoon full of sugar to the above basic ingredients and your sweet chana sattu sharbat is ready to drink.Refrigerate it or add ice as per your choice.
Paratha recipe:
Take 1 cup of wheat flour ,add salt for taste, 1 table spoon oil ,sufficient water and make a soft dough.Cover it and keep it for 10 minutes. For filling stuff ,Take 4 table spoon of chana sattu, ½ teaspoon ajwain, small pieces of onion(optional) ginger garlic paste, 1 teaspoon lemon juice,1 tea spoon oil,1 teaspoon chilli powder, salt for taste add 1 spoon gravy from any pickle to add taste .Mix it well. Now take sufficient portion of wheat flour dough to make roti and spread it till it becomes a catori size. Add a ready stuff of chana sattu in it, sprinkle little water on it to make it wet and wrap the cover of dough from all side to make round shape. Make a paratha of it. Apply ghee or oil (as per your choice) from both the side while roasting. Once turn brown ,remove from pan .Your crispy paratha will be ready to serve.
